aux. (助動詞)
  1. have用作助動詞時,可與動詞的過去分詞或“been+現在分詞”連用,構成動詞的各種完成時態。
  2. have的過去分詞had還可與主語倒置,構成虛擬條件狀語從句。
  3. have (got) to作“不得不”解,強調客觀上的必要,或由環境、習慣、協約等迫使而不得不做某事。have (got) to用于疑問句或否定句時,一般要借助do,在英式英語也可不借助do。
v. (動詞)
  1. have的基本意思是“有”,指物質上的所有、身心上的具有或構成上的含有。引申可作“享有”“容許”“招致”等解。

  • 兩者都可表示“不得不”。其區別在于:force指主觀強迫,包括使用武力迫使某人做某事; 而have to強調由于客觀的原因而必須做某事。例如:

  • have to, must
