happen to sb, happen with sb
  • What's happened to her?
  • What's happened with her?
  • happen, occur, take place
  • The explosion happened〔occurred〕 during an exercise near the town.
  • The talk is scheduled to take place tomorrow morning at eight o'clock.
  • These events happened〔occured〕 last year.
  • What happened after I left?
  • It didn't occur to him to ask for help.
  • It happens that I am there.
  • It so happens that I am there.
  • occur,happen,take place
happen to sb./sth.
  • take place表示“發生”,可與 happen 或occur換用,但其后面一般不接 to sb./sth.
